* Framing or “common/general versus specific Frames of references” is a central concern in decision making and modern “attention economy” communication strategies. The focus is not to overwhelm the audience and secure a clear slot for focussed information and concern. See also hypercognition, the work of Lakoff, where the definiton depends on the outline drawn. I recommend to look onto the Conceptual Superstructure work started in the early 90ies and work done in the field of environmetnal research and management (meta-data versus meta-information) and terminology research, reposities and switching systems.
